Age of Extinction Concept Art Shows Near-Final Movie Characters With Vehicons, Lockdown, And More!

The official Transformers Facebook page has posted a selection of concept art images for various Age of Extinction characters. Representing about half of the main characters of the movie plus a Vehicon body design, this gives a detailed look at several of the character models that would go through additional refinements before being fully produced for visual effects in the movie. CinemaSins' Everything Wrong With Transformers: Age of Extinction Is Two Parts & 32 Minutes Long

CinemaSins has posted the latest installment in their “Everything Wrong With) series, covering Transformers: Age of Extinction… and it’s a two-part video clocking in at a total of 32 minutes. For comparison, the first Amazing Spider-Man film took them all of two minutes. Somehow Toy Story took them ten, so we may be looking at some editorial bloat as time goes on, but still… 32 minutes. Age of Extinction Helicopter Drift Stop Motion Video Review

The helicopter version of Drift retooled from Dark of The Moon Skyhammer may not be the newest thing around, but this video of the toy is definitely worth looking at. Tsumaraseta did a quick stop motion look at the toy, and finished off with an impressive triple-change sequence using both Generations AOE Drift figures. Transformers 4 Lost Age of Extinction – Japan Times Talks to Michael Bay, Kelsey Grammer, Nicole Peltz, and Mark Wahlberg

The Japan Times has published an article about Age of Extinction, its Japanese connections, and the samurai-inspired changes to the character designs. Bay also reveals that despite vowing that Dark of the Moon was his last Transformers film he was “prevailed upon, expertly” by a group or person he does not name to direct TF4.
