Disney Attractionistas and more coming to parks this year

I have to start off by saying I am so excited for Summer suddenly that I just can’t stand it! Coming this Summer are the new Disney Attractionista dolls! From the concept images they look to be similar to Monster High dolls (Which I LOVE!) and so far we’re just getting to see the one for the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, and Haunted Mansion. I like the idea of the Tea Party doll, but that concept art is a little wonky for me. Haunted Mansion may very well end up being my favorite.

As for other items that will be hitting the Parks this year, we’ll get to see more goodies for Orange Bird, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Polynesian, new nutcrackers, and more! Be sure to check out the gallery to see what’s going to be appearing before your very eyes, and check out the Disney Parks Blog for more information on them.

New VINYL VIXENS Gotham Girls Figures Coming Soon From FUNKO TOYS!

I just got these semi-prototype photos recently and I know that a lot of BATMAN Fans out there will totally love them. I Present to you, VINYL VIXENS from Funko! These three Gotham Girls will be available at Hot Topic in the coming months (among other places). The first wave includes Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy.

Plus, there’s a rumor that more DC Comics super heroines will be added to the toy line. My only regret in posting this is that I don’t know how tall these figures are. But they do look pretty cool and I just might have to get that one of the Catwoman, MEOW! OK, I actually want all three, ha!

S.H. Figuarts Vegetto is coming for all of you

Since Figuarts figures can’t actually be fused together, Dragon Ball Z‘s most powerful character will have to get its own Figuarts treatment. This S.H. Figuarts Vegetto looks, well, pretty much like you’d expect.

You can check out the product page on Bandai’s web store to get a better idea of what you’ll be getting. He’ll have a number of alternate faces, and parts to show the Super Saiyan version. Vegetto will be available April 2015 for ¥4,104.

[UPDATED] Good Smile is coming to MCM London and bringing loot

Update: GSC have also confirmed they will have a very limited number of Nendoroid Halloween Miku available. Only twenty will be sold, ten on Friday and ten on Saturday. Get them before they’re gone!

It’s still tough being a figure fan who lives in the UK, but things have been a bit more fun ever since Good Smile Company set up an official European branch and started attending major events all over the continent. With one of the biggest events of the British convention calender next week, the colossal MCM Comic Con London, European rep Maritan has announced she and her colleagues will be back in attendance.

British readers who are going along, you’d be well advised to check out their booth, as there’ll be the chance to get your hands on some pretty neat stuff. Among the items on sale will be exclusives like the Nendoroid Sayaka and Kyouko twin pack and Snow Miku. Here’s the entire list of what’ll be available:

Perfect Grade Gundam Unicorn coming this December

It’s the kit that everyone said they wanted when they learned what they could do. The gimmicks for the Perfect Grade line made people dream of what the Unicorn could be if they were to do it. Yes, it’s finally coming this December and it won’t be as much as people thought.

Let’s get to the gimmicks. It will be fully transformable, going from Unicorn to Destroy modes. Just as with the Master Grade editions, the psycoframe parts will be UV reactive, but now will have the added bonus of an additional LED set. It’s what everyone wanted and now it’s coming.

The hobby mags this month didn’t have a December Master Grade, which follows the pattern of the PG releases. This is the first completely new PG since the 00 Raiser, which was four years ago. Thankfully, this kit will also be cheaper than the 00 Raiser, retailing for ¥21,600. The additional LED unit package will cost ¥12,960. The total package is quite the cost, but I’m glad they’re at least giving the option of the LEDs.

December was getting a bit crowded for me, but I’m excited by a PG Unicorn a lot more than what else was coming out that month. I know what I’ll be doing for my vacation this year.
